Our oysters

A good oyster is like a good wine, a combination of location (merroir), farming practices and how the product is handled before it is served to you. Fed by cool southern Antarctic waters and the mighty Huon River, the waters of Great Bay on Bruny Island are special and produce the sweetest oysters around. At Ma Bruny Oysters we continuously refine our process to take full advantage of this unique merroir and provide you with a sumptuous oyster experience year round. The unique experience is complete with a timely harvest and oysters shucked before you to guarantee freshness. Our oysters are not to be missed by connoisseurs and first timers wanting to taste the best of Tasmanian seafood. Depending on season and availability from the farm we serve Pacific oysters small and large, Gold oysters small and large and native Angasi oysters.
